Was super excited to check this place out and get real Maine lobster. Was turned off from buying the homemade pies when I saw swarms of flies around them and the fish. So I got a fresh lobster roll for $25 . It was tasty. The lobster tasted very fresh. All tail and claw meat. But the price is a bit steep. I mean, I'd pay $18. But $25 is too much. They have homemade jams that are pretty good and I appreciate the produce is local but so much of it was withered. I support local business and mom and pop shops but I most likely won't be back for food safety reasons and expense.

We've been going to the green spot for six years spring and fall. The sisters put out the best lobster rolls, chicken salad and pies available anywhere. Their produce and baked goods are always a cut or two above anywhere else nearby. They stock lobsters and fresh fish and great choices in frozen lamb and veal. Their wine selections are surprisingly diverse, interesting and well priced. While most things here are a little on the expensive side, the quality justifies the cost. We love the sisters and consider them as much an attraction as the things they sell. Our biggest complaint is that they are only open April-October.
